Exercising While Traveling~FitDog Friday

This week Glory and I were traveling in hopes for puppies in the near future. Since she was away from home and not able to do her normal exercise routine of hunting test training we had to improvise.

One day we took a trip to a near by park where Thunder from 2browndawgs used to train at. Thunder wanted to show Glory around and get some exercise while they walked around.

Hiya let’s go for a walkie.

I’ll walk myself your taking to long.

Taking a break for some pictures of the love birds.

Another day Glory got her exercise by walking around the outside mall. Most of the stores allowed dogs so she was able to go in and shop with us.

Going shopping, what to get, what to get.

No chocolate for you but please sit here and take a nice picture.

ohhhh I like this store, it’s a doggy bakery.

Besides treats they have products you can buy.

Mom don’t ya need a new Coach purse?

So when your traveling and visiting another state and you don’t think you can get any exercise in, take your dog to a dog friendly mall or park and get some exercise there. I won’t tell you how many store owners gave Glory biscuits for being so cute and well behaved so we had to walk more to walk off her 87 treats.

Glory and Thunder got some extra exercise in each night also, stay tuned for a month from now to find out if we’re having puppies.

  1. Walking in the mall, not a bad way to get some exercise in at all, something you could both really enjoy 🙂

  2. I’m guessing there was a lot of exercise going on but not the kind to be filmed 😉 We always get in a lot of walking when we travel as it is a fun way to check out new areas.

  3. Improvising looks like fun (especially with all the treats she got)! Sometimes it’s good and very enjoyable to have a change in the normal routines. All paws crossed for good news of course, and a month must seem so long for you to have to wait for the news!

  4. Yay for 87 treats 😉 I’m always looking for dog-friendly locations & stores, so I’m excited to hear that you found one & had fun walking around it with Glory! Good luck with the puppy quest!

  5. Hi Y’all!

Ha, ha! You took the treats? I take them but I spit them back. So sorry your stay and shopping spree was so short.

    Y’all come on by,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
