Purified water, Citric Acid, Cytlpyridinium, Chlorophylin, Glycerine, Potassium Sorbate, Green Tea Extract.
I added it to the gang’s water bucket, since I had such a big bucket it took almost half of the bottle.
It did bubble up a little bit when I added the additive after the water was already in the bucket. A couple days later when I made up a new batch of water I forgot and added the additive first and I got a big foamy mess so I suggest you remember to add it last.
Whoops, don’t add the additive first then fill with water.
Let’s see what the dogs thought.
Nellie trying it out in the little dish.
Not bad at all, I can do this and it gives me minty fresh breath.
Nellie drinking more.
Glory trying out the big bucket.
I didn’t get any pictures of Gambler drinking out of the dish. All dogs drank the water with the additive in it. Their breath was better right after they drank but I can’t say it lasted 12 hours. If you can’t do anything I think this is a good alternative to help keep the bacteria at bay so the tarter doesn’t build up as fast.
The 16 oz bottle lasted my gang of three large breed dogs one week. At $15.49 a bottle I think this product is better for smaller pets that won’t go through it as fast as my gang did.

I was compensated 1 bottle of TropiClean for a honest review from Chewy.com.
We’re joining the Tasty Tuesday blog hop today. This is a blog hop that celebrates good food, sponsored by Sugar the Golden Retriever and Kols Notes.
Great review! I’ve wondered about this, but I have 3 big dogs like you.

We can’t do the water additive thing because three dogs and two cats drink from two bowls and as soon as they are about half gone, Mom cleans the bowls and changes the water so we have fresh. I guess for one small dog or a couple cats it might be more efficient.

Thanks for the great review! I often wonder about these kinds of products, and as you say, with large dogs it is rather expensive. But~~for sure the “Team” looks as though they approve~

I heard about this product and wondered if it actually worked. I’m glad it made the SS gang’s breath minty clean…I wonder about the effects on tartar if used over a prolonged period. Great review! Happy Tuesday!

do you think it’s strong enough to remove the smell of sardines too? be careful when you plan to cut the bone in three parts, I still have the scar on my hand as I tried that :o)

Interesting. If my little Chewy was my only dog, I think I’d be willing to try this. Seeing as they all drink out of the fish and duck ponds, it’s probably not a good investment here.

We tried this before and noticed a small improvement with Atka’s breath. However, Mauja the diva didn’t want to drink the tainted water 😉

I kind of liked the super sudsy version. But then again I’m a bit of a booze hound and I think it might have reminded me of beer. 😉 Great review!

Great idea! If I didn’t have 3 big dogs I would try it, but it’s a little expensive for us right now!

Is this one safe for cats too? I’ve wanted to try something like this, but since the dogs and cats share water dishes I have to be sure it’s OK for cats too. I didn’t see MK in there drinking or playing in the bubbles….LOL!

Great review. We’ve never tried the water supplement, but we have had the gel thing you squeeze into their mouths… not fans AT ALL of that… Might give this a bash though!
Hugs, Carrie and pups x

Interesting idea and great review. We change out our water fairly often. I am not sure it would last even a week in our house.
