Tasty Tuesday~Nellie’s Spooktacular Birthday Announcement

In one week Nellie will be turning 10. She plans on having a spooktacular Birthday Pawty with a giveaway so make sure you stop back on October 7, 2014 and wish Nellie a Happy Birthday and see what kind of Spooktacular giveaway she will be having.

What do we have going on here?

Nellie is having a spooktacular Bday Pawty next week.

For today’s tasty treat I made Nellie’s Birthday Cake into paw print and bone designs using my new silicon molds.

My new molds.

Birthday Cake Recipe

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup corn oil
4 oz. jar baby food, meat, beef, chicken, lamb (I used chicken and rice)
4 eggs
2 Tablespoons real bacon bits
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour an 8x5x3 inch loaf pan. Mix first five ingredients together until smooth. Add bacon bits and mix. Bake 30-40 mins, until brown on top.

Finished product.

The pre Birthday taste testers: Cousins Chloe and Oakley.

See the drool specks, this is gonna be good.

Nom, Nom, Nom

Baby Oakley taking a sniff.

This is great!
