Happy Saturday Everyone!
More edited pictures from my friend Nichole from Alred Photography.
Without Norman I wouldn’t have this wonderful family.
If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say “Goodbye”.
You were gone before I knew it.
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness.
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you-
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more:
To remember all the happy times,
life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today-
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you’ll always stay.
Now for my Sepia Saturday photo brought to you by Ruckus The Eskie.
Norman and Brooke at the lake.
We are also joining up with The Pet Parade
Hosted by: Rascal and Rocco, Jan’s Funny Farm, Basil the Bionic Cat, Barking From The Bayou and Love Is Being Owned By A Husky.
Here is what Love Is Being Owned By A Husky (Jenna along with Melissa from Barking From The Bayou are the new co-hosts) says about the hop: So please feel free to link up and party with us!
Parade you fav pet photo’s , stories , ANYTHING you want! The only rule is . . . .
There are no rules!
And that’s the way we like it! Who needs rules at a party anyhow?
BUT it is always a good idea to link back to your hosts, and maybe even give them a follow!
Also, this hop consists mostly of kitties , there are a couple doggies that are involved, but the majority are kitties, so one of the reasons Melissa and are now co hosting is to let you all know that this hop is DOG FURIENDLY as well!

I love that last color picture. I don’t know why, but it just popped out at me! I wish I could get my troups to stay still long enough for a picture, but Scout would be the only one that would lay there:( The other two aren’t very photogenic! Have a great Saturday!

What a beautiful poem. My family dog’s 3 year death anniversary is coming up in a few days. My mom is still mourning so I may share this with her on that day. I’m sure we’ll both be crying like babies but I hope it’ll help her heal. 🙂

Your poor mom, it’s hard and sad. So sorry for your loss. I hope you do share that poem, it is one of my favorites. I actually first found out about it when my dad died.
