Happy Saturday Everyone!
Today we are joining Ruckus The Eskie for their Sepia Saturday blog hop.
Here are the pictures of Norman I took the morning before we took him to the vet to say goodbye in Sepia.
Where to Bury a Dog
But there is one best place to bury a dog. If you bury him in this spot, he will come to you when you call – come to you over the grim, dim frontiers of death and down the well remembered path to your side again.
And though you call a dozen living dogs to heel, they shall not growl at him nor resent his coming, for he belongs there. People may scoff at you, who see not the lightest blade of grass bend by his foot-fall, who hears no whimper, people who may never really have had a dog. Smile at them, for you shall know something that is hidden from them.
The one best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Peace!

Tears from that poem…we put our Tino to sleep in one of his favorite spots in our backyard…and he comes to me whenever I walk past it.

So glad he comes to you when you walk past that favorite spot. There is nothing like them coming to you when they are gone and I am blessed to have Norman come to me twice in a dream. JoAnn Stancer N8767 Larson Rd Cambria, WI 53923 920-948-7738

Great, now my mom is crying…I guess what you wrote really touched her. I will cuddle with her and she will be okay. She says that her precious Trine is buried in her heart and that is why she gets so sad about these things but she also has Trine with her all the time. The photos are nice too, love the first one.

Emma you give your mom a big cuddle and lots of kisses. When you have a heart dog sometimes there are sad moments.

That poem brings tears every time. The photos are beautiful in sepia. After our dog Maggie died she also came to me in a dream. I was able to hug her and hold her and to this day I remember how real it felt, and how much I needed it.

Hi Yall!
What a beautiful verse about burying your dog in the owners heart. We take part of your heart with us when we cross the Rainbow Bridge…that’s how we recognize you years afterward.
Sadly for my Humans, they have been transferred around the U.S., Canada and abroad and none of their heart stealers are near them any longer. But I’ve heard my Human say that before they moved she used to hear Candy’s tags jingle when she was out walking in the yard. Since they knew they were moving again, they waited, dogless, until they were settled again. Then they searched for another heart stealer, and once more found a perfect companion, ME!
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
