Glory and I got her invite to the 20th Annual Premier, the United Kennel Club 2012 Top Ten Finals Competition held in Kalamazoo, MI June 13, 2013.

By achieving a 2012 Tip Ten Show Dog ranking, your dog has earned the chance to compete in the 2012 Top Ten Show Dog finals competition. This achievement makes all of the hard work well worth it.

The Invite.

The Invite.

Glory and I started showing in UKC conformation in July 2012, she got her show title in August 2012,  you can read about it here. This was the first time I have ever shown any of my dogs, usually I am running hunt test and getting their titles in field work not show. This was a bran new experience for me, an experience that I will defiantly keep on doing. I was so proud to have been able to put a CH in front of her registered  name: CH Sand Spring No Gut’s No Glory.

Glory was the Sixth Chesapeake to get the most points from showing in the 2012 year. She won 2 points

in conformation so she was the #6 Chesapeake in the UKC Top Ten Breed and Show Standings. Here is a listing of the standings.

Glory ukc ch

Glory was bred by and owned by JoAnn & John Stancer of Sand Spring Chesapeakes. Her Dam is HRCH Sand Spring Hurricane Nellie SH and her Sire is CH Port Side’s Great Xpecations MH** owned by Ron & Virginia Reed. Thank you Ron and Ginny for such a great breeding!

Needless to say I am so excited to be invited to the Premier with 2 of my Chesapeakes. Hopefully Glory, Gambler and I will make Sand Spring Chesapeakes proud!
